Characters Of The Fringe

“Welcome to the Alliance of Defiance”.  For three weeks in August Edinburgh Festival Fringe opens the doors, streets and alleyways of an entire city to an explosion of creative energy from around the globe.
The Fringe is a truly open access festival where in the spirit of the original eight, no one is denied entry, making it the largest platform on earth for creative freedom.

Mike and Donna have been slowly and blissfully exploring the world since 2017. Slow Travel has changed their lives forever. They will never go back to that fast-paced travel lifestyle again.     I have only attended one fringe festival. That was in Adelaide, South Australia. It was a dynamic, fun filled festival. But probably no where as big as Edinburgh’s . I bet you enjoyed a fun time 😁

    Yes I was going to suggest you put the Adelaide Fringe and main Festival on your experience list. The middle of February to mid March. Womadelaide is also so on the weekend of the 8th or 9th.Oh and throw in a car race, it’s all happening. Known as Mad March by locals. I think it’s up there with Edinburgh, some would rank it second. Adelaide is an easy city like Edinburgh. Nice photos. Louise
